					<description>I guess that I haven't really given the Pledge any real thought pertaining to a conflict between it and my loyalty to my God.  I suppose I see the pledge to be affirming the principles of America in which I believe even as I disagree with some things our government has done.  Then again, we are essentially self-governed, so our pledge is to our own dedication to that for which we should give thanks.

I'm going to have to give this some more thought.  Good head-scratcher, though!</description>
