Here’s how Ed Peck, chief of the U.S. mission to Iraq under Jimmy Carter, and deputy director of the cabinet task force on terrorism under Ronald Reagan, answered the question: But Mr. Ambassador, do you believe that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization?

Well, a terrorist organization is in the eye of the beholder. (emphasis added)

Watch the entire video clip at HotAir.

Is this the Blue Liberal definition of a terrorist organization?

Peck also stated, You have to understand, now, we parachuted people into Europe in World War II. …Their job was to kill Germans. Now, were they terrorists, or heroes?

How is it that such a bankrupt view of morality can find its way into the mind of one who has supposedly witnessed the realities of the last forty years? Does the Blue side truly believe that terrorism is in the eye of the beholder? Or is Peck’s view an anomaly within his ranks?

Ich spreche Deutsch nicht, Mr. Peck. And for that, you can thank the likes of the heroes shown below.

D-Day, Ambrose
